I didn’t set out to work in wellbeing. But perhaps I was always finding my way here.
I started my corporate career with Toyota & Lexus, working in PR, events and incentive travel, before moving into event production and creating experiences for some very different brands and businesses.
Over the years, I worked on events such as the Hay-on-Wye Literary Festival, the Harrods Christmas Parade, the Monaco Grand Prix and the Notting Hill Carnival, as well as producing parties for organisations including Booz Allen Hamilton and Cantor Fitzgerald.
It was exciting, creative and fast-paced, and it taught me an enormous amount about people, experiences and what happens when you bring the two together.
But alongside that professional life, there was another thread running quietly through mine.
I had always been curious about wellbeing, spirituality and the connection between mind and body.
In my twenties, I travelled extensively and spent several months in India, living in an ashram and studying meditation. Over the years that curiosity led me to explore massage, yoga, mindfulness, Reiki and other practices.
At the time, I never imagined those two parts of my life would eventually come together.
But that's exactly what BREATHE INTO has become.
Then life changed. So did my work.
When I had children, my career moved into digital marketing and eventually, seven years ago, I started my own consultancy.
Since then, I've worked with hundreds of coaches, experts and business owners globally, helping them turn their knowledge into successful online businesses and supporting them as they launch, grow and scale.
I love business. I love ideas. And I understand the energy it takes to build something, lead something and be responsible for making things happen.
But during those years, life outside work became particularly demanding too. My partner became seriously unwell and, alongside building my business, I was supporting my family through an incredibly difficult period.
The wellbeing practices I'd explored over the years stopped being simply something I was interested in. They became something I genuinely needed.
They gave me ways to pause, reconnect with myself and navigate periods when life felt very full.
And eventually, one practice stood out from everything else.
The breath.
Of everything I explored, breathwork changed something for me.
There was something about working consciously with the breath that felt different.
It wasn't simply relaxing. At different times it could be grounding, energising, emotional, surprising, clarifying or deeply still.
The more I explored it, the more fascinated I became.
We breathe all day, every day, mostly without thinking about it. Yet when we begin to pay attention to the breath and work with it consciously, it can become a way of noticing what is happening in the body, becoming more aware of how we feel and creating a different relationship with what's going on inside us.
For me, breathwork brought together so much of what I had been exploring for years: body, mind, awareness, emotion and something harder to define.
And unlike many wellbeing practices, the breath is always with us.
We can return to it in a quiet morning practice, in the middle of a busy working day, before a difficult conversation, when we need to reset, or simply when we want to check in with ourselves.
I wanted to understand it more deeply. So I trained in it.
And BREATHE INTO™️ began to take shape.
I knew I didn't want to create something that felt overly spiritual, overly clinical or like another wellbeing practice people felt they had to be “good” at.
And I didn't want breathwork to exist in isolation.
I wanted to combine the breath with some of the other practices I'd found valuable over the years: reflection, visualisation, affirmation, sound, gentle movement and intention.
Something grounded enough to take into a workplace, but human enough to meet people wherever they happen to be that day.
Something that creates a pause between what has been happening and what comes next.
That's where BREATHE INTO came from.
People. Practice. Possibility.
A way of creating experiences that begin with the breath and leave room for something else to emerge.
“The breath is the first thing we take when we arrive in this world, and the last thing we let go of when we leave it. Yet most of the time, we barely notice it.”

How I work
BREATHE INTO is grounded in choice, curiosity and respect.
There's no pressure to experience something particular, share something personal or participate in a practice that doesn't feel right. Experiences can be adapted for different people, environments and needs, with clear guidance and alternatives offered where appropriate.
I'm committed to continuing my own learning and to growing BREATHE INTO thoughtfully, professionally and responsibly.
Thoughtful by nature
BREATHE INTO is being built with a commitment to thoughtful, responsible and sustainable ways of working. That means making considered choices about the products we use, the things we create and the businesses and suppliers we choose to work with.
Where possible, we want to work with organisations and partners who care about people and planet too, and who are trying to make a positive difference through the way they do business.
